Group packages

Group packages are an excellent way to enjoy a vacation while also benefiting from special rates, amenities, and activities. At our resort, we specialize in various types of groups, including family reunions, wedding groups, leisure groups, small meetings, and incentive groups.

Meetings and Incentive Groups

For Meetings and Incentive Groups, we offer a unique blend of business and pleasure, as participants can enjoy relaxation and recreation while attending meetings or conferences. Our resort has WiFi Internet access available throughout, from the main bar lounge, pool deck, and Verandah Restaurant to picnic tables on the beach. LAN access is also available in every suite.

Group

To qualify as a group, a minimum of 20 paying adults occupying ten double rooms for a minimum of three nights is required. Two-bedroom suites require a minimum of three paying adults. We also offer one complimentary adult for every twenty adults booked.

Special Group

Our special group rates include a Vacation Nanny assigned to each family, three daily meals from a choice of three restaurants – the Verandah for Continental Cuisine, the Overproof for Jamaican Cuisine, and The Pier Restaurant for Italian Fare. We offer a children’s program, special Kidz Buffet at dinnertime, premium bar, live nightly entertainment, transfers to and from the airport, use of all sports facilities, sailing, snorkeling, kayaking, all with instructions and equipment, glass-bottom boat rides, tennis for night and day play, bicycles, a fitness center, gym, karaoke, disco, all hotel taxes, complimentary private welcome cocktail party, and complimentary use of conference facilities for Small Meetings and Incentive Groups.

I’m so, so glad I found this place–we actually cancelled another trip to book at FDR. Sadly, we booked for right after Hurricane Melissa hit, but they rebooked us with no issues. Taking the hurricane into account, the resort looks great. Some parts were closed for repairs, which is completely understandable, and everyone made the best of it. I can completely understand why people come here year over year (we may have been the ONLY family there who wasn’t yet a repeat visitor!), and I cannot thank every person at FDR enough for making our very first family vacation such a beautiful experience.
