Here at the best all-inclusive for kids in the Caribbean, kids are kept on the go, busy and entertained with our fun and interactive programs, all day long!
The Yellow Bird Kid’s Club at the Franklyn D. Resort and Spa is a fun-filled hub of activities for children of all ages. It offers a wide range of activities that cater to every child’s interests and abilities. Children can indulge in exciting activities like playing games which we encourage parents to allow their children to travel with their games like x-box, play station etc.
There are outdoor and indoor arts and crafts areas, tie-dye, beach picnics, pizza making, and a children’s playground. The resort also offers scavenger hunts, nature trail and night beach games, and the 100ft slide called ‘Big Blue.’
The sports offerings at the Yellow Bird Kid’s Club include soccer, Kids kayaks, tennis, pickle-ball and basketball. The club’s aim is to keep the children engaged, active, and entertained during their stay at the resort.
The club’s experienced staff ensures that children are safe and well-supervised while they enjoy their activities. Parents can relax and enjoy their holiday while their children have the time of their lives. Overall, the Yellow Bird Kid’s Club at the Franklyn D. Resort and Spa is a fantastic place for children to explore their interests and have a great time.

FDR is a resort where families come back year after year. The staff is amazing and makes you feel at home. The food is great (especially for an all inclusive). The drinks are good (not cheap bad tasting alcohol). The kids have fun as they become friends with the other kids at the resort. And for the parents, it’s great to feel like you’re on vacation and not just parenting on vacation. The Nannie’s are a huge help. The rooms are very spacious with the kids having their own separate sleeping space and bathroom. The resort has remarkably recovered from Hurricane Melissa with the storm not impacting our stay at all. It was our second year in a row here. We love it (and so do our kids)!
I’m so, so glad I found this place–we actually cancelled another trip to book at FDR. Sadly, we booked for right after Hurricane Melissa hit, but they rebooked us with no issues. Taking the hurricane into account, the resort looks great. Some parts were closed for repairs, which is completely understandable, and everyone made the best of it. I can completely understand why people come here year over year (we may have been the ONLY family there who wasn’t yet a repeat visitor!), and I cannot thank every person at FDR enough for making our very first family vacation such a beautiful experience.
The Only Place I Want to Travel With Young Kids! BEST NANNIES/STAFF FOR KIDS!
We had the BEST vacation with our three young kids (under three) at FDR Jamaica. I would highly, highly, highly recommend it if you are a parent of young kids who wants to get away with them but also wants to relax. The nannies – incredible!!!
