We are delighted to welcome guests as the full FDR experience remains intact. While enhancements are ongoing, our Honeycomb Restaurant & Grill and Main Bar are fully open and ready to serve you.

Teen Fun

Teenagers are independent, fun-loving and adventurous. These are the characteristics that will let them take advantage of everything the Franklyn D Resort and Spa has in store for them!

They can learn new sports like snorkeling and tennis. They’ll meet new friends from a variety of different places, mingle with their peers, and enjoy their own hangout, a games room with pool, ping pong and foosball.

They will have their own disco nights and enjoy all the other cool stuff we offer. Our Teens Program has every base covered to ensure that your teenagers will love the resort, Jamaica, and that memories travel home with them.

The more adventurous teens can take advantage of the Teen Scuba Diving Adventure which is offered on property by S.C.U.B.A. Jamaica.

FDR is a resort where families come back year after year. The staff is amazing and makes you feel at home. The food is great (especially for an all inclusive). The drinks are good (not cheap bad tasting alcohol). The kids have fun as they become friends with the other kids at the resort. And for the parents, it’s great to feel like you’re on vacation and not just parenting on vacation. The Nannie’s are a huge help. The rooms are very spacious with the kids having their own separate sleeping space and bathroom. The resort has remarkably recovered from Hurricane Melissa with the storm not impacting our stay at all. It was our second year in a row here. We love it (and so do our kids)!

I’m so, so glad I found this place–we actually cancelled another trip to book at FDR. Sadly, we booked for right after Hurricane Melissa hit, but they rebooked us with no issues. Taking the hurricane into account, the resort looks great. Some parts were closed for repairs, which is completely understandable, and everyone made the best of it. I can completely understand why people come here year over year (we may have been the ONLY family there who wasn’t yet a repeat visitor!), and I cannot thank every person at FDR enough for making our very first family vacation such a beautiful experience.

The Only Place I Want to Travel With Young Kids! BEST NANNIES/STAFF FOR KIDS!

We had the BEST vacation with our three young kids (under three) at FDR Jamaica. I would highly, highly, highly recommend it if you are a parent of young kids who wants to get away with them but also wants to relax. The nannies – incredible!!!

Tremendous service, delicious food and drinks, and a fantastic location made our stay truly enjoyable. This was our second visit to FDR Holidays, and once again, it did not disappoint. While it’s not a 5-star luxury resort, it’s clean, incredibly family-friendly, and the staff are truly amazing.
