We take the special dietary needs of our guests very seriously. We arrange for you to meet with the chef upon arrival to ensure that he knows exactly what your dietary needs are and provide meal options for you to choose from.
2. WHAT ARE THE NANNIES WORKING HOURS?
Our nannies work from 8:30 am until 4:40 pm .she breaks for one hour for lunch at 12:30p.m each day.
3. DO YOU SHARE YOUR NANNY?
Our nannies are assigned per family. The nanny you receive upon check- in will be the same nanny you have for the duration of your stay.
4. DO YOU HAVE THE SAME NANNY EVERYDAY OR DO YOU GET A DIFFERENT NANNY EACH DAY?
Here at FDR, every family has a dedicated vacation nanny and she is only assigned to your family.
6. WHAT KIND OF ACTIVITIES DO YOU HAVE FOR TEEN AND TWEENS?
We have a teen supervisor that interacts with the teens and have them meet and hang with other teenagers. We encourage the teens to participate in activities such as: bike tours, snorkelling, pizza making, volleyball games, basketball games, tennis, jewellery making, boat rides, kayaking, community outreach programs and much more. They also organize offsite excursions for the teens such as blue hole, Mystic Mountain, Margarita Ville.
7. ARE YOU CLOSE TO THE BEACH?
We are a boutique beachfront resort. You are only steps away from the ocean.
8. WHAT IS THE CLOSET AIRPORT TO YOUR LOCATION?
The closest airport to FDR is the Donald Sangster international airport in Montego Bay, St. James. Jamaica.
9. HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FROM THE CLOSET AIRPORT TO YOUR LOCATION?
It takes approximately one hour from the Donald Sangster’s international airport to FDR.
10. ARE THERE MOSQUITOES?
We do not have any problems in our area. However, we do take precaution by spraying the property twice per day and recommend that you take insect repellent along with you.
11. DO YOU HAVE NANNIES THAT TAKE CARE OF INFANTS, ADULT CHILDREN WITH DISABILITIES?
We also have experienced nannies that are trained in the handling and care of infants. Some nannies have guests with disabilities.
12. ARE YOUR NANNIES TRAINED?
All our nannies are trained and certified in CPR.
13. DO YOU NANNIES SWIM?
Not all our nannies can swim; however, you may request a nanny that swims when reserving your suite.
14. DO YOU PROVIDE CRIBS?
We do provide cribs for families travelling with infants at no additional cost.
15. DO YOU PROVIDE STROLLERS?
We do not provide strollers. We recommend that you take your own if needed. We however provide stroller parking on every block.
16. DO YOU PROVIDE LIFE JACKETS?
We do provide life jackets for toddlers, teenagers and adults. We recommend that you take your own safety swimsuits & floats for your infants.
17. WHAT ARE YOUR RESTAURANT OPENING HOURS?
The Honeycomb Shore restaurant is open from 7:30am to 9:30pm. It is our main restaurant and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner daily. The cotton tree grill is open daily from 11:00am- 11:00pm (subject to change depending on occupancy) Pier restaurant is open 3 nights weekly from 6:30pm to 9:30pm with theme nights (for dinner) such as Indian, French and Italian. Kids’ dinner buffet is at the cotton tree grill daily from 5:30 pm to 7:30pm
